Hey, I’m Jaym.
I’ve had one of the most wild rides through life so far, and it seems like I’m only just getting started. I recently purchased five acres of raw land in the Kootenay Rockies in British Columbia, Canada. It’s a bit of a crazy mission, but I’m developing a gully that no one else wanted into my own homestead.
Even though construction has taken over my life, I still make time to create art and spend quality time with my kiddo. I never thought I could build my dream life while being a single mom, but I’m nothing if not foolishly optimistic!
My favourite things in the world are plants and paintings, so I’ve built a little A-frame cabin for my art studio, and I’m getting plants from all my neighbours to help my mud pit come back to life. My goal is to be a happy elder granny playing my harp under my willow trees by my pond.
Everything might feel overwhelming and messy right now, but I’m going to take you with me from acorn to oak and all the adventures in between!
